  24. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING VBRUN300.DLL
  25.  
  26. This program requires the VBRUN300.DLL file. If you 
  27. do not already have this file in your Windows\System 
  28. directory, obtain a free copy of the file from your 
  29. online service, BBS or distributor.

  32. The file ZIPHD222.EXE is a self-extracting file.     
  33. Files inside it will extract (be placed) into the
  34. directory where it is located.
  35.  
  36.       Place the file Ziphd222.exe in a empty directory.
  37.  
  38.       In examples below replace c:\dummy with
  39.       name of directory where file is located.
  40.       [Enter] = press enter key
  41.  
  42.       From Windows Program Manager choose the RUN command.
  43.  
  44.       Type the path and name of the file and press enter.
  45.           
  46.             Example:  C:\dummy\ziphd222.exe   [Enter]

  48.       From Windows Program Manager choose the RUN command.

  50.           Type C:\dummy\zh-setup.exe  [Enter]

  52.       Follow the on screen prompts to set up Zip-Hard in Windows
  53.       Program Manager.

  55.       Save Ziphd222.exe as a backup file.  The directory containing
  56.       the unarchived files may be deleted after running zh-setup.exe.

  58. NOTE:  Files are authenticated by Zip-Hard, Inc.  If you do not see
  59. Verified!  #URL745  Zip-Hard, Inc. at the bottom of screen after files
  60. are extracted you do not have authentic files and should be scanned for
  61. possible viruses.

  66.     Unarchive the files into a separate directory.

  68.     From Windows Program Manager choose the RUN command.

  78. Problems Installing Zip-Hard:

  81. NOTE: ANSI.SYS
  82.  
  83.      The first time Zip-Hard runs it must set itself up to run on
  84. your computer.  On some PC's, an error may occur when Zip-Hard
  85. first runs without ansi.sys installed in the config.sys file.
  86.      To prevent this problem, edit your config.sys file and add
  87. the line:     DEVICE=C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS   Save the file and reboot
  88. your computer.  The example assumes ansi.sys file is located on
  89. drive C: and in the DOS directory.

  93. NOTE:Installing over old version
  94.  
  95.     The PATH in the programs start up icons may be incorrect when
  96. installing over old an version.  To correct this restart Windows then
  97. run zh-setup.exe, or edit the icon and correct the path to the program.

  100. NOTE: About Memory
  101.  
  102.    Zip-Hard should not have memory problems with Windows running
  103. in enhanced mode.  Windows running in standard mode must have
  104. approximately 768 free bytes of extended memory for Zip-Hard to
  105. run.  To check your memory start Program Manger; under HELP click
  106. About Program Manger; you will see (Free extended memory). See
  107. your Windows documentation for ways to increase memory.

  116.      This is an evaluation version of Zip-Hard software. The span
  117. disk switch is not available.  This version will not allow you to
  118. create a zip file that will requires more than one disk, while using
  119. Zip-Hard.

  121.      For only $20.00 you will receive the latest registered version of
  122. Zip-Hard without the nag screens! and activation of the span disk
  123. switch allowing you to create large zip files that require several
  124. floppy disks used for back up and portability.  You can customize a 
  125. switch with your favorite zip and unzip switch.  You will also receive
  126. a printed manual with the installation disk.
